A Plea for Play
Its easy to forget what children gain through nature play when through an adult's eyes it looks messy and unsightly. Richard Louv reminds us of all that is gained through the simple act of building a fort in his latest article: Don't Tear Down That Fort! The article reminds us why it is so important to incorporate nature play into our programs at Lyman Woods, and why time spent in the Wild Woods is worth much more than the eye can see!
