Leave No Child Inside Conference

This past Saturday, Marge Trocki, Interpretive Naturalist and Shannon Forsythe, Manager of Natural Resources and Interpretive Services, had the pleasure of presenting at the Chicago Wilderness Leave No Child Inside Conference. As part of a panel discussion with the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore and the Forest Preserve District of Cook County, we discussed how we have been able to integrate nature play into summer camps, holiday camps, and Nature Neighbors and Coyote Club, our before and after school programs. It was wonderful to be able to share the great success we have had with the Wild Woods and how we have been working to facilitate nature play at Lyman Woods.
