Spring is finally on its way, so it’s time to start your
garden! Don’t have a lot of space? Start with a small bed or garden in
containers. There are so many benefits to gardening, including environmental
benefits. Growing your own food reduces the resources used to produce and
transport food…think water, pesticides, fertilizers, shipping, refrigeration,
packaging and so on. Organic practices increase the environmental benefits of
backyard gardening.
In addition to environmental benefits, you will benefit as
well!
