First Day of Summer Camp

Summer camp has officially started over here at Lyman Woods. We got off to a great start yesterday and we're looking forward to a summer full of laughter & learning in nature!

Check out what we did on the first day of camp:

Bug Safari started out the week with a big bug hunt!

Check out all those roly polys!

Rock Hounds learned all about minerals -- the building blocks of rocks! And even got to try their hand at cracking their very own geode!

Wetland Waders got started on building a terrarium to observe throughout the week!

Here's to a week full of exploration!

Registration for camps is still open, so don't hesitate to join us! Click here to see all of our summer camps & register online or call the Interpretive Center at 630.963.9388 for more information.
