National Pollinator Week

It's National Pollinator Week!

There are 1,400 species of crop plants around the world, and 80% of those crops require external pollination from insects or other animals; without pollinating insects like bees and butterflies, the entire world’s ecological system would collapse. Do your part to help protect our pollinator species by planting native flowers! Besides their stunning visual appeal and easy maintenance, native flowering plants like milkweed provide habitat for butterflies as well as a source of nectar and pollen for other pollinators.
